The Restless Hamburger is a blog, musings, and reflections regarding my adventures eating Hamburgers. Throughout my global travels the consistent option in many cities, towns and local eateries has been the availability of the "hamburger" in its many shapes and forms and is most often one of the common menu options available.

The hamburger is one of my favorite meals, when on the road, or traveling. It is maybe the fact that you generally know what you are getting, and the familiarity makes it often a good choice when you are not sure of what the other options on the menu might be.
The richness in interpretation and creativity of what consists of a "Hamburger" is endless, and when traveling around the globe one gets to experience all kinds of interpretations which come in all shapes, forms, tastes, consistency, color, flavors, size, and combinations.
I will not spend time going into the history or origins, and more importantly what constitutes a true hamburger for this I am sharing a series of links for you to browse and get an idea of its history:

So the journey begins, for each opportunity I will share the location, try to connect with one of the staff or owner for a little history, share a few photos, and give my personal opinion of what the burger is like. I will rate the burgers according to the following criteria
Welcome.
